Build thesoftware youwish existed

Find the people who need the same thing you do. Prove the demand is real before a line of code is written. Then build it together — and own what you build.

One idea. One hand each. A number nobody can inflate.

How a wish
becomes a company

In order · Steps 01 to 04

  1. 01

    Post the problem

Describe the software you wish existed and who else has this problem. Takes a few minutes and costs nothing.

  2. 02

    Others raise a hand

Anyone with a verified account can say “I want this too” — once. Duplicates aren’t blocked by a rule; they’re impossible.

  3. 03

    Demand becomes a number

A wish is an opinion. Four thousand verified people with the same wish is a business case — and now it has a figure attached.

  4. 04

It gets built, and owned together

Funding, builders, and eventually a company owned by the people who needed it. Today we stop at step 03 — proving the demand is the whole job.

Backers on a crowdfunding site get merchandise. Clients on a freelance site get work-for-hire. Here, the people who needed the software fund it, choose who builds it, and end up owning the business that results.

Right now we're doing the first part: finding out what people actually need, and how many of them need it. Saying “I want this too” costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
